Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best choice for small spaces I researched many spas and brands before settling on the Aventine. It has worked out really well and made the most of a really small space.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The first time I put the chemicals in, I followed the measurements properly, but it still did not register correctly I was wondering if you have a service that would come by monthly or bi-monthly to make sure it;s done properly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Chemical balance Really hard to get balances right. Have to shower before using to keep water from becoming cloudy, sudsy from body oil, deodorant soap, etc., etc.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My Tub I'm satisfied with the hot tub except for the circulation pumps coming on so often when its not in use to keep the temperature from between 101 and 103. Seems like a big waste of energy to me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Hot Tub Great product. Helps reduce my lower back pain caused by arthritis. Water can be tricky to maintain.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect sized tub for two We have owned our aventine tub for about 2 years now. And are still enjoying it about 3 days per week. In the summer we turn the temp down to 99 and it's the perfect temp after sundown. The only thing I would add is more jets but what spa owner doesn't say that:)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Have used my Aventine Tub for 1 Month Now I ordered the tub in a coastal gray but it appears more like a tan color with light streaks of gray in it. The tub is great for 1 person especially. Although it says it has 2 seating arrangements, with the buoyancy, you can comfortably move in many positions to relax. That surprised me. The jets provide a lot of power but when on full strength, it gets quite sudsy and I have to turn it down. I don't know why that happens. The men who delivered it were more "pool people" and really couldn't explain how the control panel works. Although it's small, it's involved and I'm still confused as to how to operate it. I'm also a bit confused as to the number to put the bromine and minerals on but with it being a small tub, I'm told not to really be too worried about it. All in all, the tub is quite nice and attractive on my deck.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very relaxing I purchased this hot tub to help deal with the pain of arthritis. It has help, pain has been greatly reduced. Only concern was the Frog system, had a hard time getting the bromine level stabilized, switched to chlorine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Aventine spa service issues with mine were ultimately repaired by dealer - good spa - there is a very limited selection of small triangle shaped units on the market and we felt this was best choice

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be much better. When it's working right, I love the spa. It had a serious leak when installed (which the phone person said was impossible) and now the motor has stopped working. New one ordered. Check back in a month to see what I think of it

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pump Gone The Aventine Caldera Spa i purchased just over 3 years ago requires a new pump. If Caldera Spas can only be reliable for 3 years before having to buy a replacement pump then the product is inferior. The warranty is only for two years but with a key component like a pump it should be warrantied for at least 5 years. Won't buy Caldera when I replace the current Aventine model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Water pump issues I have my hot tub ( caldera Aventine ) for about 8 years . I'm replacing the water pump for the 3rd time and I barely use it ( besides it runs 24/7 ) Should I get it replaced again ? Not so sure

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally got my wish I have wanted a hot tub for as long as I can remember...and finally got my wish. I have used it several times a week to relieve arthritis in my knee, which has helped tremendously, especially after a workout on the treadmill. I would encourage customers to invest into the little bit of luxury! I have had excellent customer relations with Caldera Spa and the Company were I've purchased my spa. Go for it!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tubbie This tub runs more than I want it to. Filter 1 setting for 30 minutes and it runs for 30 minutes sometimes every 2 hours, not calling for more heat either. I have e-mailed my dealer with no reply yet. Other than that, the tub is everything I wanted it to be. I use it every night.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My little bit of paradise I purchased my Aventine SPA in April 2015 and my experience is wonderful so far. I rated EASE of WATER CARE as good because I had a some difficulty in understanding the water treatment process. I named my SPA "my little bit of paradise" because at the end of my work day I find transquility and relaxation in my SPA. The SPA is small yet very spacious for two adults both over 5'8'' and the jets are very powerful. I highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for a two-person spa.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Aventine Spa We were looking for a two person spa that would fit in a limited space. We were also looking for quality and affordability. The Aventine fit all of our requirements. The smaller spa makes for a quick water change out at the prescribed intervals. As far as comfort, this thing works wonders after a long day on your feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it! I've had this spa for 5 years now. Easy to maintain, has never leaked and never needed any service call. The Spa Frog screw cap is hard to open sometimes, but I got a C-clamp to open it (after pushing the cap down). I installed it upstairs (engineer-approved), and I wasn't aware that when the heater comes on, it's a little noisy in the living room downstairs, but I'm getting used to it and also program it to come on at a more appropriate time for that matter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Aventine (Life Saver) At 71 years young this spa is a life saver. I get in it right after I wake up each morning and it loosens up my aching muscles and joints so I can go out and shoot a money winning round of golf. I only play 6 days a week so the whole process keeps me young. The care and maintenance of it is a breeze..I change the 150 gallons once a month and it only cost about 20 to 25 dollars on my monthly electric bill. I can't imagine life without it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for small spaces! I love my Caldera Spa! I've had it 2 years now. I replaced the pump once, as it is used daily here, even in summer. I have poor joints and this spa has been a literal lifesaver. I am about to replace my cover, as it needs to be replaced due to the harsh Texas sun. One cover, and one pump. In 2 years that is all it has required. My spa is my 15 minute daily getaway from the hustle of daily life. It is compact, perfect for 2 people and fits nicely on my back porch. I have a small yard and a spa that would fit was needed. The Aventide is it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the 2-Person Spa!!!! WE love this Caldera spa; it is small, yet roomy, and fits perfectly on our back lanai. Every evening we go and soak, then turn the jets on and get the perfect massage. It is easy to keep clean and our electric bills stay low. We had purchased larger spas in the past, but this one is ideal and would recommend it highly to anyone asking. It has a beautiful design and we even have steps that fit perfectly with it. The top is light enough for one person to open and close and will definitely recommend to friends & family. Already have. It is the best overall spa we have ever owned. You cannot believe how roomy it is for the size and the features are great. Comes with lights and spots to hold drinks. Cheers!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slice of Heaven I am retired so I get in my Hot Tub every morning. AAH!!!!! I get to relax and soothe my aching back. My favorite thing is to lie back and plan my day. The only thing I miss when we go on the road in our RV is my Aventine Hot Tulb!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our hot tub for two We were looking for a hot tub to fit on our small outside deck. The Aventine looked like the answer a year ago when we were looking, and now after a year's use we're sure it was the best unit to buy. One thing we weren't sure of was hooking up the Aventine on 120 volts but it was the only electric outlet that was available when we had the unit installed. But after going thru an extra cold Tennessee winter (many days we used the hot tub, the temp didn't get to 20 degrees F), we were very happy how the hot tub held steady at 104 degrees every time we used it. We are very happy how easy it is to use and maintain the Aventine and we would recommend it to any one who is looking for a hot tub for two.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Aventine is a wonderful spa. Great small spa; very comfortable and easy to maintain. I've used daily for 3 years without any problems. I extended the drain hose outside the cover for ease of draining. I would add a couple more jets around the hip and knee areas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love our little spa! My husband and I had been wishing for such a spa to soothe our tired muscles and yet be affordable for us. Since we're avid DIY-ers, we often find ourselves with sore muscles after a weekend push either in the house or in the yard. We love our little spa -- it's just right for the two of us. My husband is well over 6 foot and has no trouble getting comfortable. We definitely would recommend this spa for a single person or a couple -- no matter the age!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! Great spa for small spaces! Very easy to maintain and enjoy. Just be aware it is not a plug and play you will need to have a dedicated 30 amp circuit to plug it into. The spa frog system is great and regulates all chemicals for you, just replace cartridges and jump in and relax. I will say that I have a 6' 2" son who is very comfortable in the unit and able to stretch out. Would definitely recommend purchasing this spa, great value for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great spa for Couples We have had 2 spas previously and they were the large ones, measuring about 8 x 8. We like this smaller one better. It is quiet and a lot more economical to run. The jets can massage just about any body part and it is amazing the comfort and relaxation we get from the spa. Would highly recommend this to friends and family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Plain Great I sometimes awaken in the morning very stiff and tight. I am retired and like plain golf early. I have been using the tub in the morning to help loosen my muscles and joints. This has been a great boon to my game and to my overall sense of well being. It is the perfect size for me and the cost to run it has been minimal. I would highly recommend it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Aventine Hot Tub My wife and I looked at a lot of different hot tubs to meet our needs that included size to fit into a small space. We found the Aventine hot tub and realized it was the deal. I am 6'3" and fit comfortably in the tub. If you are looking for a two person hot tub, this is the one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent purchase I purchased the hot tub a year ago and I have used it almost daily since. The small size is perfect and it doesn't take up much room. Because it is small it is easily drained, cleaned, refilled and heated in a matter of a few hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Spa For a Small Space I've owned my Aventine for about five years. Comfort: Plenty of room for two to stretch out. Quality: No issues that have required any repairs. Ease of Water Care: Once I figured out the optimal setting for the bromine cartridge relative to my water supply, it's been really easy. I test, shock, and make any needed minor adjustments once/week. Energy Effiiciency: Outstanding. Barely noticeable impact on electric bill, even during the winter (coastal North Carolina). Value: A bit pricey relative to the size. But there aren't a lot of choices if you need something that fits in a corner and leaves space to walk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful jets...Practical design! I love my Caldera Aventine hot tub. Not just like...love. It is so well designed! Getting in and out is easy (I got a stone step), but moving from one seat to another is super easy with the well placed handle. The sit up seat has jets that penetrate to lower back and still your feet can get a massage from the foot jet. The lay back seat gets your upper back plus you can massage your legs with the powerful jet from the side. I had a Jacuzzi brand for years before this hot tub. The jets were never as powerful. I had to have the spa technicians out once or twice a year and great cost. I have had this tub for over 4 years...not one service call! Yep, I LOVE it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition to our home We have had the spa about 2 weeks so can't comment on the power usage, but we find it relaxing. The BIG problem we are having is that I shut it down for maintence and now it wont restart. The control panel lights up then flashes "Ready" with 5 -----.Cant get any help from Caldera and still waiting for the sales rep to get back to me. When it is working it is great, but if I am going to have hassles everytime it requires maintenance, then it sort of negates the relaxment we get in it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenient and comfortable Love the Aventine! Fits nicely in a corner of the house and we don't have to go outside! The jets are great on the back and the seats are comfortable. Low maintenance and easy to use inside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I start and end my day in my Caldera Aventine hot tub. We were resistant to buying a hot tub, afraid that we would not use it enough to justify having one. But since I was recently diagnosed with RA, we decided to try one. Three weeks ago we purchased the Caldera Aventine for two people, which three people could comfortably enjoy. It is making my RA pain so much more tolerable, and it helps me loosen up my muscles and joints tremendously. I start, and end, each day in my hot tub. Jason, our sales person, was so considerate and knowledgeable and has kept in touch with us since our purchase. The delivery people did a phenomenal job, even filling it with hot water they provided so that we were enjoying our new hot tub within a few hours after installation. The entire Backyard Leisure team talked with us in depth while helping us decide on the right hot tub for our needs. Upkeep is so easy on the Aventine. We had it installed in our sunporch so that outside debris wouldn’t be an issue. We couldn’t be happier with our decision. Buying a hot tub has been one of the best investments we’ve made, and buying from Backyard Leisure topped it all off to make it such a pleasant experience! Thank you, Backyard Leisure Associates in Terre Haute, Indiana and thank you, Caldera!
